It's Uncle's fault.

It all starts at the dinner table, with family. My uncle – a real one, a self-proclaimed boor – cracks one of his jokes between the cheese and dessert. Everyone laughs. Even those who pretend to be shocked.

One day, I take one of his jokes, print it on a t-shirt. I wear it out. And then, the same thing happens: everyone laughs. Not just my family – everyone. Friends, strangers, the guy at the bakery. A joke managed to unite everyone from the Christmas dessert table to the coffee counter.

I turned it into a brand.

Why "Paris"?

A little confession: memorable.com was taken. memorable.fr too. But memorable.paris was waiting for me.

And actually, it's perfect. Because when you hear "Paris," you think Fashion Week, runway shows, models with sour faces. And Memorable is the exact opposite of that: it's the antithesis of the $200 white t-shirt that means nothing. It's the $25 t-shirt that makes your grandma laugh.

Memorable Paris is an oxymoron. We own it.

For whom?

For no one in particular. And that's exactly what we love about it.

In my family, from the 20-year-old cousin to the 99-year-old grandpa, everyone wants one. Students, accountants, retirees, rural folks, city dwellers, men, women, parents, singles. The same joke makes everyone laugh. And that's rare.

Our Real Thing.

We live in an age where no one agrees on anything anymore. We're divided on everything: generations, politics, classes, values, tastes. And in the midst of this mess, there's one thing that still works everywhere: a good joke.

Not intellectual humor that requires a master's degree. Not irony that makes you feel stupid for not understanding. The real dad joke, the one everyone rolls their eyes at but still laughs, the one that brings more people around a table than any speech.

That's what Memorable is. A t-shirt that says: I don't take myself seriously, and neither should you. We're going to laugh together, no matter where you're from.

It's more than a t-shirt. It's a sign. You see someone wearing a Memorable, you already know you can be friends.

Ultimately.

Memorable is a brand that reflects you. A little cool, a little broken, no-fuss. A brand that connects you to others without asking who you vote for, how much you earn, or what you do in life.

Thanks, Uncle.
